On the occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav to celebrate the 75 years of independence of our country we at WARRIORS CREED, Odisha's No. 1 Defence Career Academy organized the first edition of EK DAUD DESH KE NAAM.
The event was graced by Shri Dillip Tirkey, President of Hockey India, Padmashree Awardee, Former MP Rajya Sabha, Shri SK Priyadarshi, Commissioner of police BBSR & Cuttack, Shri Sidhant Mohapatra, Actor, Producer & Former MP Lok Sabha, Shri PK Gupta, Joint director & HOO, MSME DFO Cuttack, as chief guests and Ms. Sukirti Pattanaik, Co- Chairperson National INWEC, Ms. Tanaya Patnaik, Co-Convenor INWEC Odisha, Capt. Chinmay Nayak, Army Veteran & Social Enthusiast were the guests of honor.
The event started at 5:30 AM on 4th of September 2022 on the premises of our academy. The participants enthusiastically completed the 5 kms stretch with several onlookers cheering and supporting the runners.
On completion of the marathon, the participants were awarded medals and the winners in various categories were felicitated with prizes by our guests. There were provisions of water & refreshments for the participants also.
The event was supported by MSME, INWEC, DECATHLON, AMRI, Odisha Tourism, UCakes, Ballon's Bae, Odishaestore.com, PPL Odia, Radio Choklate and Ruchi Spices.
Overall, the event was a tremendous success with participants from the different corners of Odisha celebrating 75 years of Independence.
