The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) General Duty (GD) exam is a competitive examination conducted by the Government of India for recruitment of candidates for various posts in the central government departments and organizations. The exam tests the candidates' knowledge, skills and abilities in areas such as general intelligence, reasoning, mathematical aptitude, and general awareness. The selection process includes a written examination followed by a physical efficiency test and a personal interview. The exam is open to candidates who have completed their 10th standard or equivalent education and are between the ages of 18 and 23.
